Terms of use (draft)

  1. Information only. The guides and checklists are general information drawn from the sources they cite. They are not professional advice, an inspection or a diagnosis of your boat. Follow your manufacturer's instructions and the law; call a qualified marine technician for anything the guides send to one, and 911 or the U.S. Coast Guard (VHF Channel 16) in an emergency.
  2. Your logbook. What you enter is yours. You are responsible for the intervals you enter; FixTheYacht calculates due items only from what you enter.
  3. Accounts. Keep your password and recovery code safe. We cannot reset an account without the recovery code, because the site sends no email.
  4. Plans. Skipper is $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year; Fleet is $4.95 a month or $49.50 a year. During the preview every feature is free and nothing is charged. Paid plans renew until cancelled; cancel any time and keep the plan to the end of the paid period.
  5. No warranty; limits. The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, WeldonPC is not liable for damage arising from use of the information or a missed maintenance item.
